Did you know?
We are one of the few companies approved by the City of Houston to install meters of various sizes. Any water meter over 3” is considered a large meter and must be installed in a concrete vault. Part of our service is to obtain all the permits for the meter, ordering and calibrating the meter, installation, connection to public water and testing.

Grease Traps
Installing prefabricated Grease Trap and Oil Separators in accordance to engineering specification and the governmental codes.
Sanitary Sewers
Installing and constructing sanitary sewer system to serve future development and commercial sites. Our staff and employees are very familiar with Cities' and Counties' codes, which allows us to handle either private and public utilities construction.
Manholes - Precast
All manhole structures come pre-casted, ready to be installed at the job site.
Storm Drainage - General
Installing and constructing sanitary sewer system to serve future development and commercial sites. This includes the installation of RCP, HDPE, PVC, Inlets, Manholes, and connecting to public drainage system.
Storm Drainage - CMP Installation
Galvanized Colligated Metal Pipe (GCMP) are required to be used by Harris County Flood Control whenever drainage system is tying to public bayous and detention ponds.

Storm Drainage - Storm Interceptor
Storm interceptor is a devise installed to filter the storm water before it drains to the public drainage system. There are several types of interceptors fabricated by various manufacture. Our staff will work with the manufacture to make sure device meet the engineering specification, deliver to site and install in place.
Water Distribution - General
Installing water distribution system to newly developed area. This includes connecting to the public utilities systems and extend service leads to individual homes and building. After system is installed, it will be hydro tested for leaks and chlorinated and disinfected from all bacterial objects.
Water Distribution - Fire Hydrants
Installing new Fire Hydrants (or Flush Valves) to newly developed area. Fire Hydrants will be painted to meet each city codes and regulation.
Water Distribution - Large Water Meters
A&M Contractors is one of the few companies approved by the City of Houston to install meters of various sizes. Any water meter larger than 3” is considered large meter. Large Meters must be installed in concrete vault. Our service to our client includes obtaining the permits for the meter, ordering and calibrating the meter, installation, connection to public water and testing (turnkey).

I have had the pleasure of getting to know A&M Contractors and being their business banker for the past 3 years. In that time, I have been thoroughly impressed with their operations and how diligently they run their company.
